Medical Editor +

Wiesen Medical Affairs is a tiny powerhouse with a foundation of years of medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Our tight-knit team is looking for an in-office copyeditor, or a recent graduate in English, Journalism, or a related field, to gain valuable experience.

Salary: up to $57K (based on experience) + bonus & benefits (health, 401K)

Description of Services:

• In-office position – must be able to commute daily to Marlton, NJ 08053 (fully remote applicants will NOT be considered)
• Work independently on assignments
• Develop skills as a pharmaceutical consultant
• Liaise with pharmaceutical and biotech clients
• Review, proofread, revise, factcheck, and copyedit documents (eg, outlines, drafts, and slides)
• Develop reference lists
• Perform literature searches
• Transcription of audio recordings
• Fine-tuning layout of key data into defined templates
• Schedule meetings and appointments, as needed
• Post-production of interviews with medical experts
• Organize internal company events

Qualifications Include:

• 0-2 years of experience
• Recent college graduate
• A degree in English, Journalism, or a closely-related field
• Impeccable grammar skills are a MUST!
• Strong copyediting skills
• Mature and responsible
• Strong interpersonal and people skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing all essential duties
• Strong organizational skills
• Meticulous
• Highly motivated/proactive
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to meet in Marlton, NJ 08053

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $57,000.00 per year
