Medical Courier

Medical Courier needed for a well-established and growing medical group.

Job Duties Include:

• Serve as courier for incoming and outgoing information.
• Serve as courier for all AUA medical information.
• Assist Imaging Department with scanning and chart management
• Provide maintenance duties as needed
• Assist Managers, CEO and physicians with miscellaneous duties
• Adhere to the Policies and Procedures of the Amarillo Urology Associates, L.L.P. Employee Handbook

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: No previous experience necessary. Must have a valid driver’s license, automobile and automobile insurance.

Skills: Must have attention to detail and display good organizational skills. Must be able to multitask.

Physical / Special Demands:

• Must be able to hear and respond to telephone inquiries and audible alarms.
• Visual acuity required to read documents.
• Manual dexterity required to use computer keyboard.
• Must be able to sit for 6-8 hours daily.
• May have to retrieve files located in shelf system on ramped floor to 2.5 inches above floor level with top of files 78 inches above floor.
• Must also retrieve files from Archives, which are located on concrete floor with shelf system located 5 inches from floor with top of shelves 82 inches above floor. Space between shelves is 22 & ¾ inches.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
