JOB PURPOSE:

The Medical Chart Auditor meticulously examines medical records to verify their completeness and conformity with established standards. Tasked with both internal and external evaluations of policy adherence, and procedural efficiency, this role is pivotal in facilitating consistent and logical healthcare delivery. The Auditor is key in upholding data integrity through systematic audits, scrutinizing an extensive range of medical documentation, and advocating to preserve quality. Vigilant in managing file and record accuracy across diverse subjects, the Medical Chart Auditor conducts regular reviews and in-depth analyses to prevent and address discrepancies and non-conformities in departmental operations. This role is essential in ensuring that remedial measures are promptly enacted to align with relevant laws, guidelines, and contractual commitments.
