Medical Cannabis Sampling & Transport Technician

MEDICAL CANNABIS SAMPLING & TRANSPORT TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include traveling to grower/processor sites, interacting professionally with clients on site, collecting Medical Cannabis samples using aseptic techniques and documenting appropriate information on chain of custodies and manifests to transfer the samples securely back to the laboratory.

This position requires daily travel Monday-Friday including potentially 1-2 overnight stays in Pittsburgh area per week. This position also requires attention to detail, critical thinking, professionalism and the ability to work in fast paced environment. Industry experience helpful. The position is full time, day shift however, the daily schedule varies based on the constantly changing client schedule. Some days are 5-6 hour days and others are 9-10 hour days.

Company vehicle will be provided for transportation of samples and meals and lodging covered for overnight travel.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS, must:

• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have a clean driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• High school degree or equivalent

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS, preferred:

• Driving experience
• Customer service experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with state regulations
• Sample collection from client sites
• Interface professionally with client and effectively relay information back to laboratory staff
• Securely transport samples from client site to laboratory
• Complete chain of custody and manifest paperwork using GDP
• Responsible for accurate weighing and recording all product weights
• Preparation/cleaning of tools used for sampling
• Works in a timely manner and strives to improve quality and maintain accuracy
• Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
