SalaryWe are currently looking for a Billing Specialist with at least 1 year experience in the medical field. The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all patient information, charges, billings and follow-ups are accurate, complete and timely. As a Billing Specialist you are responsible to retrieve status information from payer websites, make minor corrections to patient account information as needed to ensure timely payments. As a Billing Specialist you will also be responsible for payment posting and benefit and authorization requests. You will also work closely with attorneys offices to ensure all paperwork has been submitted and call to check case status. Good organizational, time management and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to meet strict deadlines. Maintaining strict confidentiality by adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations is mandatory for this position. Our Billing Office hours are from 8am to 6pm.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
