Major responsibilities
- Focus on specific patient accounts regarding matters of billing and reimbursement
- Send notices to insurance companies and patients for request for payment
- Focus on data quality and uniformity via close collaboration with other factions- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medical Billing
- Command of medical claims
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- Previous experience with an electronic medical record system preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
- Prefer 2+ years experience in Medical Billing or within the revenue cycle
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- A real talent for the explanation of benefits (EOBs)
