We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant/Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Technician Full-Time in-person position in Sarasota, Florida.
Our Medical Assistants/Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Technicians welcome patients for their appointments, schedule/ reschedule appointments, and assist with taking patient vitals and handling prescription refills. We are looking for a highly detailed, customer service-driven individual to join our growing practice.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 Years of Medical Office Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience (Preferred)

Beneficial Skills & Experience:

• Scheduling treatment appointments and verifying medical insurance authorizations
• Administering treatments according to protocols provided by mental healthcare professionals
• Positioning and verifying accurate placement of the device for effective daily treatment for all patients
• Ensuring head and neck support for patients during sessions
• Explaining procedures and possible effects on patients; answering questions
• Creating a supportive treatment environment and demonstrating compassion
• Assisting patients in completing psychiatric rating scales after sessions
• Recording session notes and collaborating with psychiatrists on patient care
• Escalating any serious concerns to the attending physician when appropriate
