This position is responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the medical and clinical staff. The duties of the Medical Assistant vary from office to office based on size and specialty of the practice. Performs various front office and back office patient care duties. More specifically, this position will assist with flow of patients from the waiting area to exam rooms and perform preparatory work on patients to ensure efficient use of the Physician’s time.

Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program
License/Certification/Registry:
- CMA/RMA/CPCT preferred; EKG Certified & Phleb Certifed preferred. BLS required.
