Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers and patients
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records accurately
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, such as filing documents and organizing patient records
-Rooming patients: getting vital signs
-Giving immunizations
-Triaging medical calls
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and basic life support techniques
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other office software applications
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of patient confidentiality laws and regulations
