Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist

TRT MD Health Clinic is looking for a friendly, self-motivated person who works well in a customer service driven environment and team driven environment.

Medical Assistant Duties:

· Handle prescription refills for patients

· Put in lab orders for patients

· Administrative duties to including answering phones and responding to questions from existing patients.

· Turn over rooms for medical providers

· Obtain vital signs for patients upon arrival and ensure safe and efficient patient flow to exam rooms

· Stock and maintain inventory of appropriate supplies.

· Inject and dispense medications at the order of medical providers

· Patient education on proper injection technique and how to enact patient care plans

Administrative Assistant Duties:

· Answer phone calls

· Sign up new patients in our EHR

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, dependent on experience

Job Requirements:

• Current Maryland Medical Assistant Certification
• Phlebotomy experience
• Spanish Fluency preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer skills with a willingness and ability to learn new applications
• Phone Answering experience
