SalaryNewport Dermatology Clinic is a new Dermatology practice in Newport North Carolina. We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. Newport and the surrounding community needs superb Dermatology care and more importantly access to care. We are a small practice who focuses on building relationships with our patients to provide the best medical care possible.
We are looking for a full-time start date in May. Part-time and training will be started in April.

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Take patient medical histories and record vital signs
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Provide patient education on various medical conditions and treatments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
