Description
AMHC has an opening in the Madawaska Outpatient office for a Medical Assistant to the Medical DirectorThis person is responsible for a combination of clinical and administrative tasks to support the psychiatric and medical service providers. This Medical Assistant will work closely with AMHC's Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, and medical providers to ensure client access to services and integrated health care. The chosen candidate must demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.
Qualifications:

• CNA or Medical Assistant certification is required
• Good communication skills both verbal and written are necessary
• The ability to work effectively with all clients in person as well as via phone and virtual is a must

Responsibilities & Expectations:
Administrative duties include:

• Collaborating with clients in Scheduling and following up in regards to appointments with a Service focus approach
• Obtaining and reviewing necessary documentation to continue with AMHC's dedication to Excellence
• Arranging telehealth services as needed, etc.

Clinical Duties include:

• Taking and recording vital signs treating all people with Respect
• Providing education to clients regarding medications with Compassion for their situation
• Authorizing drug refills, and providing information to providers and pharmacies, etc. with Integrity and commitment to the community.

Schedule:

• This is a 40-hour per week position.
