Description
University Anesthesiologists is seeking a full time Medical Assistant (MA) for our growing practice at UT Medical Center. Candidate must have experience in a professional physicians office setting.

This individual will be responsible for working up patients by obtaining vitals, confirming patient history and medications. You must also be familiar with handling or have a willingness to learn outgoing referrals, pre-certifications of medications and procedures, and assisting with office procedures. Candidate must able be able and willing to be cross training in other areas if the office such as front office, procedure room and other areas of the practice.
Key Results Areas
- Accurate and efficient updating, reporting and charting
- Accurately and efficiently update chief compliant and any changes to medical and surgical history for follow-up patients
- Accurately and efficiently update medical list - to reflect the patient's current medications (correctly spelled drug names, dosages and frequency) and to remove any outdates prescriptions at every visit
- Review/enter accurate chief compliant, past medical, surgical, family, social history, medications and allergies on all new consults.
- Update other aspects of the patient's face sheet (including health care maintenance section) as appropriate.
Pay-Rate : This position starts at $15 to $17 per hour, depending on experience and education,
