About The Position:
Responsibilities include providing surgery-specific patient education/instructions for pre and post-op care and helping patients prepare for their surgery and recovery. The MA supports patient throughout their entire experience beginning with the initial patient consultation through their final follow-up visit. For nonsurgical patients, responsibilities include educating patients about cosmetic procedures as well as assisting the NP in rendering these services.

- Introduce and educate prospective and established patients on available services.
- Pre-op patient education and assessment.
- Post-surgical follow-up visits.
- Assist with non-surgical patient services (ie., injectables/laser treatments).
- Promptly respond to patient clinical questions (email/phone) and advise according to surgeon's direction.
- Coordinate patient care by communicating with teammates and patients and through chart documentation.
Must-Have Criteria:
- Experience working in a medical office required - the ideal candidate will have experience in working in plastic surgery or a related office.
- Two years of MA/clinical experience required.
- Extremely detail oriented & organized.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and triage skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer & tech proficiency for EMR and cloud-based programs.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Spanish speaking preferred.
