Medical Assistant – Part-Time/Allergy

This Part-time position is for a Medical Assistant within our Allergy department located at our Wiregrass, Carrollwood and Brandon locations. We are seeking a proactive, positive, energetic Medical Assistant and a team player. Must learn how to give injections.

**Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00PM .

**Must be able to travel to multiple locations** **

THE KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

• Love of patients and providing excellent care
• Confidential handling of patient's accounts and records
• Entering data into Electronic Health Records
• Preparing patients for examination and/or procedures
• Adherence to company policies
• HIPAA and OSHA Compliance

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical Assistant certification is a plus
• High school graduate or GED certificate
• Excellent communication skills including verbal/written, in person and on the phone
• Able to give injections
• Ability to travel to other FMC locations as business needs necessitate
