- 0-1 years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
- 1+ years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

- The Medical Assistant will work closely with the Psychiatrists and Advanced Practice Providers to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a supportive, team-based environment. This is a fast-paced ambulatory psychiatric practice providing care to patients within a collaborative setting.
Duties will include but be not limited to: rooming patients, refills and in-basket management, chart preparation, scheduling, and providing administrative support to our providers.
This is a Mon- Friday, 40/hr week position. No nights, weekends or major holidays - Position Summary
- The Medical Assistant will work collaboratively with Psychiatric Staff providers, Practice Managers and other personnel to carry out the goals and objectives of Maine Behavioral Healthcare according to established policies and procedures. He/She will ensure that client service delivery practices are ethical, competent, respectful of diversity and inclusion, welcoming and geared to customer service satisfaction. The Medical Assistant will be compliant with regulatory, accreditation, contract and best practice standards.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- License/Certifications: Medical Assistant certification; Possess and maintain CPR certification.
- Experience: N/A
- Demonstrate use of tact and patience in communication with patients, families and MBH staff.
- Respects and maintains patient confidentiality.
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
- Possess cognitive skills necessary to understanding terminology, medical records and instructions
- Excellent computer skills are required: Microsoft Word, Excel and use of electronic consumer record software
