Medical Assistant

Exceptional Recruiting is seeking a pediatric trained Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN to join a highly reputable pediatric practice based in Sandy Springs, Georgia. This position is direct hire and comes with a full benefits plan

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to healthy, ill, complex, and disabled pediatric patients in a fast paced specialty clinic
• Provide well and sick care which could include vitals, taking patient histories, calling in prescriptions, obtaining prior authorizations, responding to phone and email messages, finger sticks, blood draws, injections, lab tests, patient/parent education, blood draws, EKG's, setting up further testing, and medical interventions with healthy and highly complex patients
• LPN or RN will also provide phone triage support to patients/parents
• Provide all patients with quality customer service and compassionate care regardless of socioeconomic and racial background
• Communicate with physicians, management, and staff members to ensure proper flow of business throughout the workday
• Resolve issues by providing high quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with EMR and pediatric patient care,
• Strong communication skills with an ability to build rapport with patients, parents, staff, medical providers, and management teams
• Strong references, good work ethic and attendance, reliability, and longevity on past positions
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Pay depends upon experience. An exceptional work environment with growth opportunities and benefits will be provided.

Hours:7:30-4:30 Monday - Friday, no weekend hours and no traveling to other locations

Starting pay for an MA: $17.00-$22.00/hr

Starting pay for an RN: $28.00-$38.00/hr
