Join our Parkview Employer Solutions team! This outpatient clinic supports employers for chronic and acute care, lab services, POCT testing, and medication dispensary at no cost to the patient. Our clinic focuses on building relationships with our patients from infancy to geriatric to provide wellness and preventative care. The clinic is a hybrid between family med and WIC, and each clinical coworker will be cross trained on front desk registration, clinical duties, phlebotomy, and medication reorders.
Summary
Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned Employer Clinic(s). Works in collaboration with physician team to provider quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.
Education
Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. Must have completed a Medical Assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements. OR must be a graduate of a school of nursing.
Licensure/Certification
Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). OR must have current state Licensed Practice Nurse license. CPR required.
Experience
Medical assistant or physician office experience preferred.
Other Qualifications
Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, clinical quality initiatives preferred. Must be familiar with computers, electronic medical record experience preferred. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
