San Rafael Healthcare is a pediatric home health agency located in the Medical Center. Hours are Monday-Friday 8a-4p with a rotating on call schedule.

Job Description:
The scheduling coordinator is responsible for the recruitment of new nurses as well as the coordination of client visits, maintenance and upkeep of scheduling records, and the accurate and timely communication of scheduling changes between office, field staff, and clients.
Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Control and monitor schedule changes.
- Prepare monthly schedule for field staff
- Bring any scheduling problems to the client’s case manager’s attention immediately.
- Update information on missed visits.
- Regulate and update field staff’s time off requests.
- Schedule and coordinate ‘meet and greet’ between clients and potential nurses.
- Schedule and coordinate orientation and training for new staff.
- Coordinate school clearances for nurses attending school with clients.
- Maintain current client roster with necessary information.
- Assist in coordinating services provided to clients.
- Assist in taking referrals as needed.
- Work to develop a positive rapport with all staff members and parents.
- Participates in the on-call rotation after hours and on weekends
- Assist in relaying messages to field and office staff.
- Assist in answering phones in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
- Recruits potential nurses for current clients
Qualifications:
- 2 years of previous scheduling or front desk experience, preferred
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude, good people skills, and professional appearance REQUIRED
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone
- Ability to relate to people with diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making
- Organized and able to multitask
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Computer literate
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired
