```Duties```:
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care and treatment
- Perform administrative tasks to support the medical office or clinic
Responsibilities:
- Take and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
_Must be skilled in phlebotomy
- Assist with minor surgical procedures
- Perform basic wound care and dressings
- Provide patient education on medication instructions and self-care techniques
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
```Qualifications```:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Previous experience working in a medical office or clinic is preferred
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service and care
