Scope

The Medical Assistant (MA) functions under the supervision and licensure of the Physician or Advanced Practice Clinician within the clinical setting.

Posting Specifics

Shift Details: 3 12-hour shifts a week. Rotating holidays. Must be available to work weekdays and weekends. Not able to split up 12-hour shifts.

Unit/Location: Rotate between Logan InstaCare and North Cache InstaCare Clinic.

Additional Details: We see a variety of patients that commonly present with UTIs, strep, colds, lacerations, orthopedic fractures and sprains, ear infections, migraines, pink eye, and incision and drainage of abscesses. In clinic, we perform moderate-complex labs such as urinalysis, preparing urine slides for microscope, urine HCG, glucose, strep, mono, CBC, and chem-8. We routinely perform EKGs, help with minor surgical procedures, suture and staple removal, pelvic exams, apply orthosplints/DME

At least 1 year of MA experience or Certified MA preferred
