Medical Assistant (MA) for Busy OB/GYN Clinic

(Westover Hills area)

We are seeking for a full-time experienced Medical Assistant to join our busy OB/GYN clinic. To complement our small office atmosphere, we are looking for an individual who is a team player with a positive attitude, who has a focus on providing excellent customer service to our patients. 
Job Responsibilities:
Taking vital signs
Administer injections/immunizations
Assist with pap smears
Obtaining and updating patient medical history
Assisting physicians with procedures
Call in prescriptions
Calling patients with test results and scheduling follow-up appointments
Scanning medical records into the EMR
Take supply inventory, re stock rooms, and/or assist with any other clinic duties.
Bilingual (Spanish preferred by not required)
Strong computer skills are highly recommended, as our clinic is currently on the Athena electronic medical records (EMR) system. The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is important. The candidate must have had previous training/experience as a MA, preferably in OB/GYN. 
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Do not apply if these hours would not work for you.
