SalaryOrbis Vascular Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to keep our procedure room operating smoothly and provide excellent patient care. This position is mainly located at our Med Center location, but may require 1-2 days a week at our Clear Lake location. Both locations are only open on weekdays and have no night shifts. This is an 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday job.
The Medical Assistant works under the supervision of the physician or RN to assist in the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative stages of patient care in the outpatient surgical setting. This position preps and cleans the procedure room, checks equipment, stocks supplies, keeps records, escorts patients, and updates the patient's caregiver.
Requirements
- At least one year of MA experience in a physician office, hospital, or surgery center
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
