Medical Assistant For Aesthetics / Plastic Surgery

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks. Responsibilities: - Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures - Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers - Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and coordinating referrals - Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including medical history and current medications - Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment for procedures - Provide patient education on various health topics and assist with follow-up care instructions - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient care Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - Proficiency in performing basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs and administering injections - Experience with medical coding and billing is preferred - Basic life support (BLS) certification is required - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment If you are a dedicated Medical Assistant looking to make a difference in patients' lives, we encourage you to apply. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
