Medical Assistant Family Practice

Desert Ridge Family Physicians is a premiere Family Practice office located in Northeast Phoenix, near the intersection of the 51 and 101.

We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Medical Assistant to join our clinical staff. Responsibilities include: rooming patients, taking vital signs, giving injections, performing routine lab tests (venipuncture), spirometry, EKG's, referrals, scanning, assisting physicians, and communicating with patients both on phone and by email. Qualified applicants must be reliable, well-organized, and a team player. Must have 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a back-office setting. Must be proficient with medical terminology, medications, computers and have experience with EMR software. Experience with Family Practice is a plus, as is knowledge of Athena.
