Medical Assistant
Duties:
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance claims.
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take patient medical history and vital signs.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Perform X-Ray procedures and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
- Provide patient education and instructions for follow-up care.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with experience in X-Ray procedures.
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
