We are looking for a Medical Assistant to welcome into our practice. The ideal person will display mature leadership skills and have the ability to muti-task and plan forward. With the just the right eprson, this position could transition into a hybrid remote position. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:

• Chart prep in advance of the patient's appiontmnets
• Complete tasks at physician's request
• Triage patient calls and follow through with clinical patient requests
• Authorizations for imaging orders when required
• Authorizations for RX when required
• Learn and be able to fill in to perform allergys tests when needed
• Learn and be able to fill in for other MA's on vacation

Qualifications:

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant
• 3 years experience in healthcare preferred
• Private practice experience preferred
• Exeperience with EHR a must
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
