Medical Assistant-Bilingual Spanish Or Vietnamese

Temporary status to permanent hire.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Checking in / Checking out patients

- Verifying patient insurance and demographic information

-Remaining friendly, professional and courteous to everyone

- Possessing a fair/good working knowledge of Microsoft office and EMR Electronic Medical Record) procedures and ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute

- Answering phones and patient's questions regarding prescriptions, billing, and appointments

Necessary skills include:

- Friendly and eager to learn; great attitude, flexible

- Detail oriented

- Ability to multitask, i.e. balancing large influxes of patients while answering phones and maintaining the daily schedule

- Willing to cross-train to assist with other areas of the office including diagnostic testing, scribing, etc.

- Stronger consideration for candidates that speak Spanish or Vietnamese.'

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
