Form of workMass Eye and Ear is a world-renowned institution, and part of the MGB/Partners network, providing expert care to patients with problems of the head and neck. We have busy and growing practices in our Newton and Wellesley offices and are looking for talented individuals to join us. Staff in the Medical Assistant position provide a wide range of clinical support to our physicians and patients. Staff in this position meet patients and serves as the "face" of the practice.
During patient visits Medical Assistant room patients, take preliminary medical histories, manage medical instruments, assist the physician during patients' exams and, and prepare the room for the next patient.
Medical Assistants work collaboratively with our entire staff of office and health care professionals in our team approach to health care. We offer opportunity to grow in this position, taking on more patient care responsibility as staff develop knowledge and skills.
Excellent communication skills to promote harmonious working relationships among professional staff and between other disciplines and departments to provide quality patient care. Ability to be a team player. Strong organizational skills. High school graduate. Successful completion of certified training program preferred but not required.
