Medical Assistant

```Duties```
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support in a medical setting
- Perform basic medical procedures and tests under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and specimen collection
- Assist with patient education and provide information on medications, treatments, and preventive measures
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records

```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical administrative procedures and electronic health records systems
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in performing basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering medications
- Ability to provide excellent patient care with compassion and empathy
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.35 - $20.89 per hour
