Duties:
- Perform basic life support procedures, including CPR, as needed
- Provide excellent patient service by greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and other medical treatments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including coding and filing documents
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
