SalaryWe are looking for Medical Assistants with a background in administrative work. The successful candidate will have experience with front office duties, such as opening mail and answering the phone and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. We're looking for an individual with great attention to detail, who is also personable and professional. Back Office experience is a plus.

- MUST have back office experience
- MUST have at least 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
Responsibilities:
- Make travel arrangements for physicians and other staff.
- Vital Signs
- Prepare medical office forms and appointment books.
- Perform clerical tasks, such as filing patient records, typing memos, and tracking inventory.
- Answer phones and direct calls to the proper parties.
- Perform and oversee clerical duties in the laboratory, radiology, and specimen collection areas of a hospital.
- Monitor patient conditions to ensure proper treatment by medical professionals.
- Perform routine tests to ensure patients are safe at home.
- Determine what medications a patient is able to take by reviewing their medical history.
- Review billing information with patients.
- Follow up on insurance claims.
