Medical Assistant

This is a PART-TIME position for our Farmington office. The schedule will be as follows:

Monday-Wednesday from 8:00-5:00. More hours could become available with time, so long as travel to Durango/Cortez would not be a problem. We are looking for a dedicated employee who wants to invest time into the Podiatry medical field for more understanding/learning. Applicants must have a general understanding of proper grammar & medical terminology. Applicants must be computer savvy and able to operate/learn basic computer software. Applicants must be able to type efficiently while listening to patients/doctors talk with them. Applicants must be able to take direction and improve on areas that require improvement.

Medical assistant's at FCFA dress in scrubs(color/style is not important so long as it looks professional). They work in a team environment with one lead per location, and will have the opportunity to work alongside a few different doctors/MA's depending on the schedule. MA's at FCFA go through a training process when they are first hired and are sat down at 90 days for a performance review(quarterly employee reviews are held for all employees as well). This training process will not take longer than 90 days, but can be completed early, depending on the trainers discretion.

Applicant must be able to pass a drug test, & background check.

Pay: From $19.27 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
