Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and treatment
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Assist with minor surgical procedures
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and procedures
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years of experience at outpatient office.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in medication administration and basic coding
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing patient care and customer service
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Basic computer skills for electronic health record management
Note: X-Ray certification is a plus but not required.
