Job Description: Medical AssistantLocation: Batesville, IN, 47006Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care in a clinical setting. The Medical Assistant will perform administrative and clinical tasks to support the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications
• Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and answering phones
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient exams
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
• Assist with patient education and follow-up care
• Perform other duties as assigned by healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
• Ability to use hands and fingers to manipulate medical instruments and equipment
