Job Title: Medical Assistant
Reports to: Back Office Supervisor
Location: The Dalles AND Hood River, Oregon
Full Time, Permanent
Compensation and Benefits Package: $21-$25 hourly, depending on experience. Total compensation includes a $1,000 signing bonus to be paid in 2 installments—50% at 3 months of employment and 50% at 6 months of employment.
Healthcare premiums for employees are covered at 100%, and include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability coverage. Short-term disability coverage is offered at a premium monthly cost.

Columbia Pain Management is Pacific Northwest's leading comprehensive spine, musculoskeletal, and interventional pain practice. We offer a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to caring for patients that incorporates the latest innovative interventional pain treatments.
Our goal is the accurate diagnosis and treatment of pain conditions using spinal injections, neuromodulation, vertebral augmentation, regenerative medicine, radio-frequency ablation, and percutaneous spine procedures. We strive to help patients minimize the use of opioid pain medications, encourage healthy habits, become more mobile and connected to their communities.

We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, and friendly Medical Assistant to join our team! Someone who brings a smile to each day and enjoys working cohesively with a team to ensure excellent customer service for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients – gathering vitals, minor charting, collecting samples, etc.
- Setting up and preparing sterile trays
- Recovering patients post procedure
- Processing prior authorizations and other administrative tasks
- Answering calls and returning voicemails
Qualifications for the job:
1-year Medical Assistant experience or graduate of CMA program (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred)

- Personable and well spoken

- Prioritize and organize tasks efficiently

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
