Neurology and Neuromuscular Care Center is a small business in Denton, TX. We are professional, agile and our goal is to Neurology & Neuromuscular Care Center is a 501(c)(3) non-clinic. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art compassionate care to children and adults with neuromuscular conditions. We accept all patients regardless of insurance or ability to pay. This model enables us to spend much more time with each patient. Our affiliation with Neurology Rare Disease Center, an in-house private research facility, provides a unique opportunity to involve patients in the latest research protocols. .

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care such as assisting with medical procedures
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Assist with the insertion and maintenance of IV lines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document appropriately
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
-Respond promptly to patient phone calls, messages, etc. in conjunction with physician and practice manager
-Become proficient in the electronic medical record
-Complete prior authorizations for medications, therapies, etc.
-Coordination of outgoing referrals
Requirements:
- Valid license as a Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Proven experience in providing patient care in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to insert and manage IV lines
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Spanish speaking required

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
