We are seeking a reliable Medical Assistant to fill an opening within our staff.
Work shifts will be scheduled primarily in our Fenton location. Job duties require Medical Assistants to be on their feet all day. Shifts are 8 - 10 hours depending on the day and provider. Medical assistants are required to provide their own black or navy blue scrubs.
No evenings or weekends are required. We are open Monday through Friday, and shifts will fall between the times of 7:30AM - 5:00 PM, depending on the location and provider the employee is scheduled with.
Job duties include:
- rooming patients and documenting concerns
- maintaining electronic medical records
- preparing for and assisting the provider with procedures
- giving injections
- sending prescription and refills for patients as needed
- cleaning and preparing exam rooms and instruments
- return calls left on the nurse line voicemail
- sending faxes and assisting with prior authorizations for prescriptions
- assisting as needed with maintaining inventory and ordering supplies
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and dependable with strong customer service skills and a high level of professionalism. Experience is not required. We will provide on-the-job training to highly motivated candidates.
If applicable, health insurance coverage starts between 60-90 days of employment.
PTO starts to be accrued for full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
