We are seeking an experienced MEDICAL ASSISTANT to become a part of our Interventional Pain Management team!
We are an Interventional Pain Management practice that is currently seeking to an MA for clinical and administrative duties.
Suitable candidates must be able to travel to multiple locations.
You will perform clinical assignments in the role of Medical Assistant with respect to EHR (Dr Chrono) documentation and scribing responsibilities for the physician. You will also assist in keeping the clinic running smoothly and servicing patients in a timely manner. Applicants must be responsible, confident, mature, punctual, self-motivated, and possess the ability to multi-task. Self-starter and organizational skills preferable.
Responsibilities
- Perform all clinical and medical documentation duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Must be highly flexible and able to accommodate changing needs of the practice
- Maintains awareness of patient flow in order to ensure optimal service through effective communication to enhance the overall patient experience
- Candidate would assist physician with healthhistory documentation, preparing interventional pain procedures for physician under X-ray/fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance, reviewing medical records, sending electronic prescriptions, prior authorizations and patient documentation.
- Pain Management/Orthopedics/Neurosurgery/Spine/PM&R experience is STRONGLY preferred
- Bilingual English /Spanish/Portuguese preferred
