Podiatry Practice looking for a Full-Time Medical Assistant. PMAC Certified XRAY CERTIFIED preferred.

- MUST HAVE LICENSE TO TAKE XRAYS IN A PODIATRIC OFFICE IN PA
Job Details:
- There are nights on a rotating schedule, and rotating Saturday mornings.
- Pay is commensurate with experience.

Some of the responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:
- Bringing patients back to the exam room
- Record vitals, medical history updates, and medication lists in the EMR system
- Allergies, among other documentation required.
- TAKING X-RAYS
- Prep the patient for physicians
- Prep exam room for the physicians
- Assisting patient with shoes and socks
- Assist physician with patient care
- Sterile procedures in the office
- Casting
- Injections
- Removes sutures/staples
- Smoothing of nails
- Completing required paperwork
- Complete Patient FMLA/Disability/LOA paperwork
- Preparing Lab specimens and slips to send to various labs depending on specimen sent
- Send out to correct Lab
- There is also cleaning and stocking of exam rooms among other responsibilities
