Provide patient care in accordance with philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.  Works under the guidance of physicians and advanced practitioners in the medical office setting.  Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), Clinical Leadership, and Scope of Practice after competency is established.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military Medic course AND less than 1 year of MA experience OR
2. Patient Care Tech, Certified Nursing Assistant or relevant clinical experience with at least one year of experience
3. Current BLS card (CPR).
4. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position if such duties are related to lab duties.

PREFERRED

1. CMA or RMA
2. Proficient in EMR
