Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and personable Medical Assistant to join our chiropractic office team! As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in delivering quality chiropractic services. This part-time position (three days per week) requires someone with a sunny disposition and a passion for patient care.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals in patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient vital signs, record medical history, and update patient information
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Provide medical administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing tasks
- Educate patients on treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Proficient in medical terminology and coding procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
