Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, and administering medications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient information, test results, and treatment plans.
- Assist healthcare providers with procedures and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy to accurately communicate with healthcare team members.
- Perform basic life support measures in emergency situations.
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.
-Complete source document and data entry.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and maintaining equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in patient care techniques, including taking vital signs, EKG and administering medications.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to accurately document patient information.
- Basic life support certification preferred.
- Experience with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and source document completion.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
