Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Northern Virginia, has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced full-time certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join a busy and growing medical practice at Physicians Premiere Weight & Wellness Center. We are looking for an individual who is motivated and energetic, who believes in teamwork to help our patients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Escorting patients from the waiting room to the exam room, obtaining vitals, obtaining history and medication information.
• Performing EKGs.
• Doing prior authorizations for medications.
• Work with the physician to relay lab results, setting up medication refills in EMR, helping with any clinical related patient messages.
• Maintaining and stocking exam rooms
• Answering phones and scheduling patient appointments and helping the medical receptionist when needed.
• Training will be provided.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year as a Medical Assistant and/or gap year medical, PA or NP college grad student
• Strong clinical skills
• Must be able to work independently and on a team
• Must have problem solving skills
• Experience with inventory/stocking medical supplies
• Professional and compassionet demeanor
