Medical Assistant - Utah Orthopaedics
Full-time MA needed for busy Bone Health/Osteoporosis Clinic in Ogden, UT. Looking for a warm outgoing personality that can interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds at all times. Knowledge of Internal Medicine and Prior Authorizations is a required skill. I.e. Understanding of "Cover My Meds" and similar Internet Sites.
Duties and skills include but are not limited to: patient relations, maintaining patient privacy, obtaining prior authorizations for osteoporosis injectables, excellent telephone skills and etiquette, clinic workflow control, booking and managing clinic and surgical schedules and associated paperwork, ability to work accurately and efficiently, work well under pressure, effectively using our EMR/PM system (AdvancedMD), enjoy change, and make our patients feel great about their experience.
