Currently we are looking for a Medical Assistant for our San Diego office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• As part of a multidisciplinary team, supports our physicians in the delivery of care to patients.
• Verifies patient information, history taking, confirmation of current condition.
• Prepares patients for exam by obtaining blood pressure, weight and patient history summary
• Clean and prepare exam rooms.
• Counsels patients on physician orders.
• Updates patient information in our EMR system
• To be cross-trained and back up to co-workers

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• High School Graduate
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Team player
• Personable
• Consistently positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Workers' Compensation Medical Clinic
