MUST HAVE MEDICAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE
Answer patient phone calls regarding medical issues for physician
RX Refill Requests for physician
Scan physician chart documents, reports and results into patient charts
Order Imaging
Referrals to outside providers
Monitor progress of Imaging and obtain discs or uploaded images when complete
Chart Checking prior to appointments
Schedule and reschedule patient appointments
Review and distribute e-faxes
Intake of Referrals – determining if the referral is valid for our practice
Reach out to new patients, coordinate the web registration and obtaining pertinent information for their first appointment
Ensure that Referral and Medical Records are scanned into the patient’s EMR chart prior to first appointment and imaging is in-office
Review and enter any new patient information into the EMR including providers, medications, etc
Schedule/Reschedule New Patients
Compile Surgery Charts weekly
Cover Front Desk as Needed and at Lunch
Performs other duties and Special Projects as requested or required
Experience and Requirements
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office experience
Superior time-management skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to details
Clear communication skills
Scribing or MA experience a plus, but not required
Positive, caring and customer-service oriented
Willing to jump in and help with day-to-day duties
Must be willing to submit to a Background Check and Reference Checks
Must be willing to receive the COVID Vaccination if not already vaccinated
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
