Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medicaid Specialist with bilingual proficiency to join our team and play a crucial role in assisting our clients with their Medicaid applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the application process, ensuring accuracy, and expediting the approval process.
Responsibilities:
- Educating Clients: Provide comprehensive information to clients about Medicaid eligibility guidelines, requirements, and the application process, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
- Document Gathering and Eligibility Confirmation: Collect necessary documents from clients and verify eligibility criteria to ensure accurate and complete application submissions.
- Application Submission: Prepare and submit Medicaid applications to the appropriate regulatory bodies, such as the Health Resources Administration (HRA), utilizing bilingual communication skills.
- Approval Confirmation: Follow up on submitted applications, confirm approval status, and ensure efficient turnaround times for clients, addressing language-specific concerns as needed.
- Home Visits (if required): Conduct home visits as necessary to assist clients with paperwork completion and address any additional concerns, demonstrating bilingual proficiency.
Qualifications:
