Job Description
The Media Producer tells the story of FCA to coaches, athletes, volunteers, and donors through videostorytelling. As FCA seeks to reach every coach and athlete, this position provides expertise in creatingcompelling video that helps them connect and take action with us. This person would also help tocoordinate, execute and maintain media needs. This position works across the Marketing andCommunications Department focusing media creation and development. The Media Producer should modelthe FCA Values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence in serving the staff, and representing FCAboth internally and externally.
MINISTERIAL DUTIES
These responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission and this position plays a vital role in our ministry. FCA expects all functions and responsibilities outlined below to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship.
  • Agree with, and abide by, FCA's Christian Community Statement.
  • Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
  • Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
  • Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and create compelling video storytelling and resources to support organizational needs asassigned by the Director of Media to promote the brand and equip others in video needs. These mediaproducing responsibilities will include:
  • Capture and produce FCA stories through video storytelling and other media in the field and to supportorganizational needs.
  • Be FCA's brand champion by infusing FCA's vision, mission, values, voice and persona in all mediaand video.
  • Manage, curate, organize and maintain FCA's organizational media assets and digital assetmanagement system.
  • Responsible for general filming and photography as required.
  • Management of media studio, on-site capture and organization of media equipment, logistics anddeployment.
  • Coordinate Support Center and departmental media needs.
  • Provide training on media, video storytelling and strategies to FCA staff and insiders.
  • Work with the Advancement Pillar staff to create media to FCA staff and constituents.
  • Assist the Director of Media in creating systems to expand media access and curation throughout theministry.
  • Work with the Director of Media to create best practices and training to assist FCA staff and regions inthe acquisition of various media.
  • Work in cross-team project management software to keep projects updated and communicatewith stakeholders on project progress and collects feedback.
  • Attend needed cross team project meetings to better understand goals and stakeholder needs.

COMPETENCIES
  • BA/BS in Film, Cinema, Communications, Journalism, or related degree
  • Solutions-oriented self-starter.
  • Passion for staying up to date on the latest strategies in media trends.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to execute at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong communications and time management skills.
  • Ability to juggle shifting priorities and multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related
  • programs.
  • Knowledge of and passion for sports and preferably with previous involvement with FCA.
  • Mature Christian.

EXPERIENCE
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in filmmaking, cinematography, and editing.
  • Advanced experience in media and video editing software and tools.
  • Experience in managing projects with multiple clients at the same time and leading projects across
  • teams.
  • Experience in sprint and agile marketing processes preferred.
