CACI has the need for a Media Asset Archivist to support the Media Services Center (MSC) as a critical component to the success of our contract. MSC produces audio, video and photography productions for federal agencies, and candidates for this position play an integral role in the management, documentation and storage of production assets. The most successful candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines, a good understanding of media-related fields (video, photo and multimedia), is capable of multi-tasking, possesses strong customer service skills and has project management experience. The Media Asset Archivist is expected to meet and maintain customer expectations as well as to provide timely, high-quality services that are critical in our Quality Assurance chain.
Qualified candidates will have this type of experience:
- Ingesting Media Assets for video and photo projects
- Renaming, categorizing and managing files placement on storage drives
- Archiving Media Assets into an archive system upon project completion
- Documenting media archiving per agency security policy
- Managing the sign out, physical labeling, reformatting and reassignment of media cards
- Conducting the digitization of legacy Media Assets into digital files
- Performing archive searches for assets included in media productions
- Transcribing and captioning video and audio products according to Section 508 compliance guidelines
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Previous experience in a Media Asset Archivist role
- Familiarity with ingest, reformatting standards and management of media cards
- Experience with Section 508 compliance and accessibility requirements
- Competent experience with Microsoft Office
- Above-average typing skills (60 wpm or better)
- Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
These Additional Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Associates degree or higher
- Program Records Certifications from federal agencies
- Three or more years of relevant project experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$64,400 - $135,100
